Jura WE8 Pros
- Milk Froth Quality – The froth quality on all E-range Jura coffee machines is termed fine foam froth. Fine foam froth is super dense milk froth which uses double steaming technology to remove any air bubbles resulting in a froth or foam which is the same quality as one can get from a high-end coffee shop.
- Coffee and Espresso Extraction – The famous Jura grinder and brewing unit technology means the extraction on all “black coffee” drinks is still a level ahead of other bean to cup options. The WE8 additionally has pulse extraction technology which pumps pulses through one’s coffee to extract maximum flavor from the coffee.
- No Removable Brewing Unit – Jura is still the only brand which doesn’t have a removable brewing unit which means everything can still be cleaned at the touch of a button
- Relatively Low Priced – Although the Jura WE8 is not an entry-level priced automatic machine, it is still one of the cheaper Jura models available.
Jura WE8 cons
- Two Touch Cappuccino – The WE8 is a “one-touch” cappuccino machine but still has the frothing section of the machine separate to the coffee extraction section making it potentially tricky to operate for first time users.
- There are Cheaper Models Out There – Although the Jura WE8 is one of the cheaper Jura coffee machines, there are a number of other brands on the market that are still cheaper than Jura. These other brands might not have the same frothing and extraction quality but the features are almost identical. If you are a first-time drinker and not too fussy with your coffee quality then another brand might be a better option for you.
- Noise – The WE8 does have a few features to eliminate noise as much as possible however when grinding beans there is still some latent noise that can be heard.
